    What is Aurora Boreale?

Aurora Boreale is a luminescent paint for Istinto. When applied to the surface of your walls, it will absorb the light and then glow in the dark, which will highlight the aesthetic effects of your wall and add a really stunning and unique aspect to your room.

The product itself is completely transparent, which allows it to maintain the colour of the background without any variation; this is the perfect product if you want to add a little something to your room, without changing the aesthetic of the room itself.

The name derives from Aurora Borealis, otherwise known as the northern lights, a spectacular natural light show seen in the sky.

    Applying Aurora Boreale

Aurora Boreale should be applied to Istinto walls by using a soft brush or a sponge.

After you have finished applying the product, any remaining Aurora Boreale should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from any frost or humidity.

When washing the wall, you should not use aggressive soaps but simply wash with a clean sponge and water taking care to ensure that you do not damage the Aurora Boreale finish. We recommend using our cleansing milk, Latte DetergenteLeave to dry for six to eight hours after washing.

    No direct light? No problem

We understand that not all homes have direct light in every room, which is another reason to use Aurora Boreale. If you have an absence of direct lighting, you can use a suitable ultraviolet neon lamp.

Use on a range of products

Aurora Boreale can also be applied to other surfaces other than lstinto walls too. After you take the appropriate preparations, it can be used on surfaces including:

    • Plastic
    • Wood
    • Metal

    Create stunning designs

Aurora Boreale is ideal for anyone who would like to create bespoke designs on their chosen surface coming to life in darkness or ultraviolet light. This makes it especially useful for businesses who operate in the dark such as nightclubs, or residential properties adding character to a room at night.
